Probate and Administration of Estates

The loss of a loved one is a most difficult time. When someone dies, there can be so many questions:

  • Where do I start?
  • I can't find a Will.
  • Is the will valid?
  • I'm an executor, what must I do?
  • What is probate and do I need it?
  • Who pays the Deceased's debts?
  • How do I deal with the Deceased's property and savings?
  • Who pays the funeral bill?
  • The bank won't let me have access to the Deceased's accounts.
  • Does tax have to be paid?
  • Can I lessen the amount of tax to be paid?
  • I don't think the will is what the Deceased wanted
  • We should have been left more.
  • The wrong people are dealing with the estate.

We Can Help

We at de Vall Will and Probate understand how traumatic your loss can be. We have the same experiences in life as our clients, but we will still treat everyone with sensitivity and care.

If you have been appointed as the Executor in a Will and you are happy to do most of the work yourself with some help we can refer you to one of our colleagues in a network of professionals. Whilst we no longer take on estate and administration ourselves we do have experience in this field and have forged close links with estate and administration practitioners.

To lovely Kim

Thank you for all that you have done for me and my family.
